We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud and Automation Security Engineer to strengthen our security posture across our cloud environments. You will design, implement, and maintain robust cloud security controls, ensure compliance with industry standards, and work closely with engineering teams to safeguard our infrastructure and data. You will be advising on how to secure pipelines and other automation platforms.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving complex security challenges, automating secure solutions, and staying ahead of the ever-evolving cloud threat landscape.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud security architectures across platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices for cloud environments.
- Monitor cloud environments for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and security incidents.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to embed security-by-design into cloud deployments.
- Drive automation of security controls through IaC (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates, CloudFormation).
- Provide technical guidance on cloud-native security tooling (e.g., Defender for Cloud, AWS Security Hub, GCP SCC).
- Secure Coding & Application Security Expertise
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud security engineering or related fields.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and security models (IAM, networking, governance).
- Experience with CSPM and container security.
- Knowledge of threat modelling and secure cloud architecture design patterns.
Proficiency in Security Testing Tools (SAST, SCA, DAST)
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as:
- Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500)
- AWS Security Specialty
- GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer
- CISSP, CCSP, or similar
- Experience in container security (Kubernetes, AKS/EKS/GKE).
- Familiarity with Zero Trust principles.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline security.
Soft skills

- You are a very good communicator in English, both verbal and written, and able to discuss and defend the security interests with individuals and groups of IT (security) experts.
- You are a team player who communicates in an open, respectful and constructive way with his customers and peers, both verbally and in writing. You will take ownership and ensure that organizational quality standards are met.
