Objectives • Strengthen data quality, documentation, accessibility, interoperability and reproducibility across priority regional datasets and products. • Provide timely regional and cross-country analysis, visualization and decision-support products for DCO/ROAS and, upon request, Resident Coordinator Offices. • Support results monitoring and reporting, including UNINFO-related quality assurance and consolidation of country-level information for regional and global requirements. • Link data and analysis to regional coordination structures, foresight, including multi-country and cross-boundary risks, opportunities and interdependencies. • Strengthen knowledge exchange and staff capacity in data management, analytics, visualization, responsible data use, innovation and AI literacy. Scope of Work • Data systems and quality: Complete the agreed review, update and documentation of priority databases, data-collection arrangements and analytical workflows[A6.1] from the RC system in the Arab states region, as inputs to Deliverables 2 and 3. This may include time-bound engagement with DCO/ROAS, DCO headquarters, Resident Coordinator Offices, UN entities and relevant data partners to confirm data requirements, obtain agreed inputs and validate outputs. • Knowledge management and capacity development: Produce the repository updates, reusable templates, guidance and practical learning sessions specified under Deliverable 7. The number, format, audience and schedule of sessions shall be agreed in the inception workplan. • Innovation and responsible AI: Where included in an agreed deliverable, test practical innovations and responsible AI-assisted approaches for data discovery, analysis, visualization, knowledge management or foresight. For each such output, document the method, risks and limitations; verify the results; protect sensitive information; and maintain meaningful human oversight. • Handover and continuity: Submit the complete handover package specified under Deliverable 8, including orderly records, editable source files, documentation and a clear list of outstanding issues and continuity actions. • Additional tasks: Undertake only additional tasks agreed in writing with the supervisor, within the overall scope and maximum level of effort of the consultancy.
